Pergola and Entrance Design for a private residence in Kifisia
Design - Architecture Study_Diamantopoulou Maritina 2021
A study in openness, shadow, and framing, the project redefines the residence’s outdoor spaces through the introduction of a pergola, seating areas, and a BBQ zone.
Conceived as a subtle intervention, the new structure preserves the architectural hierarchy of the existing residence, allowing voids and framed views to shape the spatial experience. The pergola emerges as a device of light and perspective, framing the landscape, trees, and sky while orchestrating a sequence of shaded and open spaces.
The entrance design completes the composition, establishing a dialogue between the residence, its surroundings, and the neighborhood context.
